Holiday Inn Old Sydney The Rocks
The Rocks is one of my favourite areas in Sydney. It’s steeped with rich history harking back to Sydney’s colonial days, and boasts some of New South Wales’ best views.
It may have been years since I’ve lived in Australia, but every time I come back to The Rocks, I’m reminded that Sydney truly is one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
I had the pleasure of staying at The Holiday Inn at Old Sydney recently. The hotel is set deep in the heart of The Rocks, close to the overseas passenger terminal, the Museum of Contemporary Art, and the iconic Harbour Bridge. Not to mention beautiful Sydney harbour, a couple of my favourite pubs and the Rocks markets!
On 28 May, The Holiday Inn hosted a roof-top launch event showcasing the hotel’s conference space for professional conference organisers.
With a beautiful evening and stunning views over the Opera House lit up for Vivid, over 40 local professional conference organisers were in attendance.
Attendees enjoyed a culinary feast, with Head Chef Shan Mukherjee offering a locally inspired menu, including lamb cutlets with minted yogurt, and locally caught prawn skewers with chili and garlic, both paired with Wolf Blass wines from South Australia.
The hotel’s unique rooftop space is one of Sydney’s hidden gems, catering up to 70 people.
If you’re looking for a memorable event space with uninterrupted views of Sydney Harbour , The Holiday Inn’s team of talented event specialists can tailor make any package to suit your requirements:
